Be the first player to move all four of your tokens from your home area, around the board and into the centre finishing area.
Lay the towel flat with the Ludo board facing up.
Each player chooses a colour.
Place your four tokens in the matching coloured home area.
Each player rolls the die. The player with the highest number goes first. Play then moves clockwise.
Roll the die once during your turn.
Choose one of your tokens to move.
Move it clockwise by the number of spaces shown.
Tokens follow the path around the outside of the board before entering their matching home path.
You must roll a 6 to move a token out of your home area. Place it on your colour’s starting space.
Whenever you roll a 6, take another turn. You may move a token out of home or move a token that is already on the board.
If you have no tokens on the board and do not roll a 6, your turn ends.
Your own tokens may share a space.
If you land on a space containing one opponent’s token, capture it. Return the captured token to its home area. Its owner must roll another 6 to bring it back onto the board.
Tokens on the marked safe spaces cannot be captured. Different-coloured tokens may share a safe space.
After travelling around the board, move your token into the home path that matches its colour.
You must roll the exact number needed to move a token into its final centre space. If you cannot use the roll, try to move a different token. If no token can use it, your turn ends.
The first player to move all four of their tokens into the centre wins.
